Topics of human cardioviruses

Saffold virus is a novel human cardiovirus identified in 2007. Although the pathogenicity of Saffold virus is still unknown, its relation with diseases of the central nervous system is suspected. In this paper, the pathogenicity of Saffold virus will be discussed, comparing with that of murine cardioviruses.
